Irian Mecatronics is proud to offer a mercury-free PVT unit for oil analysis, designed to meet the needs of researchers and engineers in the oil and gas industry. This unit allows for the study of thermodynamic equilibria (liquid/gas) and the behavior of oils at realistic reservoir pressures and temperatures.

Key Features:

  • PVT Cell:
    • Motorized piston cell with heating and cooling system
    • Optical detection system
    • Sample volume: 400 cc
    • Maximum pressure: 1000 bar
    • Maximum temperature: +10°C to +200°C
  • Gasometer:
    • Heated gasometer with GOR (Gas-Oil Ratio) measurement
    • Double volume (1-10 liters and 0.5 liters) for high measurement accuracy
  • Recombination Cell: Allows recombination of gases and liquids after separation
  • Booster Pump: Increases the pressure of gases from the gasometer to the recombination cell
  • Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) Station: Allows control and recording of unit data

  • Heating and cooling by heat transfer fluid (cryostat bath): Allows for rapid and precise heating and cooling of the PVT cell.
  • Internal agitation system: Ensures better homogenization of the fluid in the PVT cell.
  • Double-volume gasometer: Allows high-precision GOR measurement, regardless of the sample type.
  • Recombination cell: Allows reconstitution of the initial mixture after separation.
  • Booster pump: Allows extension of the unit’s pressure range.
  • Supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) station: Allows for simple and intuitive operation of the unit.

  • Comprehensive PVT study on oil and volatile oil GOR <1200 Nm3/m3:
    • Constant composition expansion (CCE) at constant temperature
    • Differential vaporization at constant temperature
    • Separation tests (multiple stages at different temperatures)
  • Phase envelope (Pet T): Determination of the phase (liquid or gas) of a hydrocarbon mixture as a function of pressure and temperature.
