Supercritical CO2 Visualization Cell
The request of the client consists of a through-visualization cell equipped with sapphire windows designed to operate with supercritical CO2.
The main specifications are:
- Cell volume: 7CC
- Maximum operating pressure: 80 bar
- Temperature range: -10°C to 150°C
- Windows: 2 sapphire windows with a 30mm viewing diameter
- Cell material: Stainless steel body
- Integrated filling valve
- Safety valve: CO2-compatible
- Pressure reading: Needle manometer
- Heating system: Integrated heating cartridges within the cell body
- Cooling system: Heat transfer fluid circulating through the cell body (pump and connection hoses included)
- Temperature sensor: PT100 probe integrated near the sample for precise temperature control
- Valco connection plug included
- Safety features:
- Two polycarbonate protective shields to prevent any potential projection in case of window breakage
- Removable polycarbonate protective casing that houses the cell and integrates all components for temperature control (power supply, hot and cold regulators)
