High-Pressure Dual Syringe Pump for Material Testing and Mixing Applications
This project focuses on the innovative design and implementation of a testing process that enables the effective mixing of liquid latex and a specially formulated mixture consisting of carbon black and water produced through a fragmentation process.
The system is equipped with two syringes, each capable of holding 3 liters. One of the standout features of this system is the synchronized operation of the syringes. An automated control system enables users to initiate the mixing process with a single command, ensuring that both syringes work in perfect harmony. Additionally, operators have the flexibility to adjust the speed of each syringe independently, optimizing the mixing process as needed.
The entire system is mounted on a skid, allowing for easy mobility and transport, and cleaning protocols ensure the system can be efficiently cleaned, with a target of less than 10 minutes for intermediate cleaning and under 30 minutes for a thorough final clean.
