Combine uniaxial tester
The uniaxial compression testing bench is designed for conducting experiments to evaluate the mechanical properties and behavior of materials under uniaxial compressive forces.
The testing bench consists of several key components. Firstly, there is a sturdy frame or structure that provides the necessary support and stability during testing. The frame is designed to withstand high loads and ensure accurate and reliable test results.
Attached to the frame is a mechanical actuator, which applies a controlled compressive force to the test specimen. The actuator is capable of generating a wide range of forces, depending on the requirements of the experiment. It operates with precision, allowing it to apply the desired load rate or maintain a constant loading rate throughout the test.
The test specimen is securely placed between the loading platens. The platens are designed to evenly distribute the compressive force to the specimen without introducing any additional stress concentrations.
To measure and monitor the applied load, the testing bench is equipped with force sensors. These sensors are capable of accurately capturing the magnitude of the compressive force being applied to the specimen in real time. The data from the load cells is collected and recorded using a data acquisition system, allowing for precise analysis of the material’s response to compression.
In addition, the bench includes displacement sensors. These sensors measure the deformation or strain experienced by the specimen during compression. By analyzing the relationship between applied force and specimen deformation, researchers can determine important mechanical properties such as yield strength, modulus of elasticity, and ultimate compressive strength.
